This Privacy Policy explains how Earngage ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you interact with Mya, our WhatsApp assistant, or our website at getearngage.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

When you message Mya on WhatsApp, we collect the information you choose to share with her — such as your name, social media handles (Instagram or TikTok), content niche, audience details, campaign goals, and budget. We may also collect limited device and usage data, such as message metadata and timestamps, to operate and improve the Service.

2. TikTok data

When you connect your TikTok account, you authorise us to read your public profile and video statistics through TikTok's API. We collect your TikTok account ID, username, display name and profile picture, your follower count and total video count, and for your recent videos the view, like, comment and share counts, post dates and links. We use this to build the performance profile brands see when deciding whether to hire you, and to show you your own reach and engagement. We do not post to your TikTok account and we do not access private data. You can disconnect TikTok at any time by messaging Mya on WhatsApp, which deletes the access we hold, and you can revoke access from your TikTok account settings.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Onboard you as a creator or a brand through Mya.
• Understand your campaign goals, budget, and audience fit.
• Match creators with relevant brands and vice versa.
• Request and confirm your consent before sharing your details.
• Provide support, respond to inquiries, and improve the Service.

4. Consent before sharing

Mya never shares a creator's profile or contact details with a brand without the creator's explicit approval. When a potential match arises, the creator receives a WhatsApp message and decides whether their information may be shared. You can revoke consent at any time by messaging Mya.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you ask Mya to delete your information, we will remove it from our systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-party services

The Service runs on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. We also use analytics and hosting providers to operate the Service. These providers process limited data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by messaging Mya on WhatsApp or contacting us at hello@getearngage.com. Where applicable, you also have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
